OPPORTUNITIES:
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - SOUTH
Full time to provide administrative and clerical support to Gateway
South program located in McMurray. Responsibilities include data
entry, report preparation, daily client communications, supervision
and coordination of assignments for the clerical staff, and other
record keeping and clerical functions. Strong secretarial,
communication, and organizational skills are required.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - ERIE
Full time. Responsible for site custody control, security, and work
release functions including staff supervision; monitoring and
preparing reports; reviewing referrals; responding to patient
grievance and discipline issues; providing direct care and case
management services; and assisting the Director with the overall
operations of the facility. Bachelor's degree in a Human Services or
Criminal Justice field, experience in custody control and security
issues or clinical experience in a corrections setting, and strong
organization and communication skills are required. Supervisory
experience preferred.
CASE MANAGERS - BRADDOCK
Full time to provide work release case management services.
Responsibilities include case management, coordinating and connecting
patients to community and social services such as employment,
education, medical, and housing; facilitating groups; patient
education; transporting patients; and other custody control duties as
needed. High school diploma/equivalent and valid driver's license with
favorable record required. Bachelor's degree and drug and alcohol
and/or corrections experience preferred.
CLERICAL ASSISTANTS - SYSTEM-WIDE
Part time, as needed, day and evening hours for various sites
throughout the Gateway system including South, Squirrel Hill, and
Monroeville. Responsibilities include data entry, filing, and various
other clerical and record keeping functions. Strong clerical,
communication, and organizational skills required.
COUNSELORS - ALIQUIPPA
Full time for adult program. Schedule is primarily daylight hours and
will include weekend and holiday work. Under the direction of a
primary therapist, the counselor's responsibilities include group and
individual therapy, treatment planning, case management, and patient
and family education. Bachelor's degree in a counseling discipline and
experience in D&A treatment are required.
COUNSELOR -EVENING - ALIQUIPPA
Full time, Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00-11:30 pm for adult program.
Responsibilities include developing, coordinating, and implementing
psycho-educational groups; orienting patients to treatment
programming; supervising recreational activities and AA/NA meetings
and patient transportation. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of
fifteen (15) credits in a counseling discipline or CAC; drug and
alcohol treatment knowledge; and valid driver's license with favorable
record required.
COUNSELOR TECHNICIAN - ALIQUIPPA
Full time to assist with adolescent groups and activities and orient
patients to treatment programming. High school diploma/equivalent and
valid driver's license with a favorable driving record required. D&A
treatment knowledge preferred.
COUNSELOR TECHNICIANS - ALIQUIPPA
Counselor Technicians are needed to work on a part time, as needed
basis with adolescent, adult, and halfway house programs. High school
diploma/equivalent and valid driver's license with a favorable driving
record required. D&A treatment knowledge preferred.
COUNSELOR TECHNICIANS - BRIDGEVILLE
Full time (12am-8am) and part time, as needed to work with adolescent
halfway house program. Assist with groups and activities and orient
patients to treatment programming. High school diploma/equivalent and
valid driver's license with a favorable driving record required. D&A
treatment knowledge preferred.
DRIVER - ERIE
Part time, approximately 20 hours/week. Responsibilities include
transporting patients and other driving duties. High school
diploma/equivalent and valid driver's license with a favorable driving
record required. Corrections and/or D&A treatment knowledge preferred.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP) CLINICAL COORDINATOR
Full time position located in Cranberry Township. Responsibilities
include providing clinical support to the EAP non-clinical staff;
clinical supervision for the EAP therapists; case management services
for supervisory referrals to the EAP; and providing telephone
screening of EAP callers as needed. Master's degree in a counseling or
social work discipline; current PA licensure (such as LSW, LPC, etc.);
ability to handle crisis situations and multiple priorities; planning
and organizational skills; and computer literacy are required. One to
two years EAP or crisis related experience, supervisory experience,
and case management experience preferred.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP) OUTREACH SPECIALIST
Full time to promote and market Gateway's EAP contract services. The
position involves direct sales, education, and contract servicing.
Bachelor's degree, experience in sales/marketing or EAP services,
public speaking skills, and the ability to work independently
required. Training skills and drug and alcohol treatment knowledge
preferred. Position located in Cranberry Twp.
EVALUATION THERAPIST - ALLEGHENY VALLEY
Full time to recommend treatment plans for clients having alcohol,
drug, and other mental health issues, and determining proper levels of
care. Excellent interview techniques and writing skills are essential.
A Master's degree in a counseling discipline or current RN licensure
required. Licensure preferred. The work schedule includes two evenings
a week.

Full time to work between various Gateway programs. Recommends
treatment plans for clients having alcohol, drug, and other mental
health issues, and determines proper levels of care. Excellent
interview techniques and writing skills are essential. A Master's
degree in a counseling discipline or current RN licensure required.
Licensure preferred. Schedule is all daylight hours.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
DRUG AND ALCOHOL TREATMENT PROGRAMS
MOON TOWNSHIP
Full time. Reports to the CEO. Responsible for all Gateway Rehab
Pennsylvania clinical operations including treatment programming,
development and implementation of policies and procedures, oversight
of clinical training and staff supervision, budget oversight, and
adherence to applicable licensing and accreditation standards.
Masters degree in a counseling discipline or other healthcare related
field required. Five years executive management experience in a drug
and alcohol or behavioral health setting required.
MONITORS - BRADDOCK
Full time, day and evening hours. Monitor the whereabouts and
activities of patients and conduct custody control procedures
including room searches, luggage searches and urine screens. Requires
a high school diploma/equivalent and valid driver's license with a
favorable driving record. Corrections and/or D&A treatment knowledge

NURSES - ALIQUIPPA
RNs
Part time (3:00 -11:30 pm or 11:00 pm - 7:30 am). Schedules include 2
shifts one week and 3 shifts the next, and work on every other
weekend.
These positions could require work on other shifts as needed. Current
PA licensure required. Experience in drug and alcohol preferred. PRN
RN positions also available for all three shifts.
PEER SUPPORT SPECIALIST - BEAVER COUNTY
Part time. Provide services and support community living by providing
practical help, mentoring, and assistance. Responsibilities include
assisting consumers with goal setting and problem solving, consulting
with community agencies and resources and connecting consumers with
services and resources, providing support in employment and recovery
related efforts, monitoring consumer progress, and conducting
individual/group discussions on various mental health and drug and
alcohol subject matters. Work schedule is approximately 15 hours/week
and includes evening and weekend hours. High school diploma/equivalent
and experience working with behavioral health services required. Valid
driver's license with favorable driving record also required. Paid or
volunteer experience with behavioral health services and consumers
preferred.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER - ALIQUIPPA
Part time position for the 2008-2009 school year providing organized
physical activities for Gateway's Licensed Private Academic School.
Secondary certification (P.A.S. or Pennsylvania), in the area of
Health/Physical Education, is required. The work schedule is primarily
evening hours, 1 to 2 hours, 3 nights a week.
PREVENTION SPECIALIST
Full time, 10-month school calendar year position, to provide services
primarily in Greene and Washington counties. This position provides
education, prevention and early intervention services to schools.
Responsibilities include classroom presentations; in-service trainings
to school staff; facilitating student education support groups;
assisting the school district with D&A issues; and the development of
bully prevention and violence prevention programs. Works with SAP
teams in the schools. Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
and strong communication skills are required. Teaching experience,
professional training, and working with at risk youth with D&A and
mental health issues preferred.
THERAPIST - BEAVER COUNTY
Full time to rotate between the Rutter and Moffett Halfway Houses.
Responsibilities include group and individual therapy, crisis
intervention, education, and case management. Bachelor's degree in a
counseling discipline, experience in D&A treatment, and a valid
driver's license with a favorable driving record are required.
Master's degree preferred.
THERAPIST - BRIDGEVILLE
Full time to work with adolescent halfway house program.
Responsibilities include group/individual therapy, case management,
crisis intervention for residents, and contacting family members,
referral and funding sources. Bachelor's degree in a counseling
discipline, D&A treatment knowledge, and valid driver's license with
favorable record are required. Master's degree preferred. Work hours
will include two evenings a week and one weekend day.
THERAPIST - MONROEVILLE
Full time for adult NIOP program. Responsibilities include group and
individual therapy, education, and case management. Schedule includes
three evenings. Bachelor's degree in a counseling discipline and
experience in D&A treatment are required. Master's degree preferred.
THERAPISTS - SYSTEM WIDE
Work on an as needed, coverage basis at various locations, including
Aliquippa, Allegheny Valley, Braddock, Cranberry, Erie, Pleasant
Hills, Monroeville, and Greensburg. Responsibilities include group and
individual therapy and case management. A Bachelor's degree in a
counseling discipline and experience in D&A treatment are required.
Master's degree preferred.
UTILIZATION REVIEW
Full time. Responsibilities include on-going concurrent review and
monitoring of cases, investigating and resolving UR problems, and data
entry. Current PA RN licensure or a Bachelor/Associate's degree in
Behavioral Health Care related field and excellent communication
skills are required. Experience in UR or clinical experience in mental
health or D&A field preferred.
NEIL KENNEDY JOB OPPORTUNITIES:
CLINICAL ASSISTANTS - YOUNGSTOWN/Rush Boulevard
Part time, coverage hours, to support the treatment team in various
activities and needs. Experience with D&A treatment preferred.
NURSES - YOUNGSTOWN/Rush Boulevard
RNs
PRN RN positions for all three shifts. Current Ohio licensure
required.
THERAPISTS - SYSTEM WIDE
